Australians discard over 5 million tonnes of food waste a year and most of this goes to landfill. You can try to help reduce food waste by coming to this workshop! Learn how to extend the life of your food by fermenting it. Fermenting is a traditional method of food preservation and it tastes delicious. Come make sauerkraut and get a taste of reducing food waste.
For safety reasons and the comfort of others children under 16 years are not permitted to this workshop.
This workshop is for Blacktown residents ONLY and there is fee of $10 which helps to cover materials. All bookings must be made online through eventbrite. Unfortunately no cash payments are available.
